Concert to Support the Restoration of La Flèche Organ

The local community of La Flèche is mobilizing for the preservation of a historic instrument. A concert supporting the restoration of the organ at Saint-Thomas Church is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026.
This 19th-century instrument, a testament to the musical and cultural heritage of Sarthe, has unfortunately been abandoned since the 1980s, requiring urgent intervention to preserve its sonic richness and structural integrity.
The initiative is jointly led by the Chœur Départemental de la Sarthe and the Fondation du Patrimoine. The objective of this collaboration is to raise the necessary funds for the complete rehabilitation of the organ, thus allowing it to regain its place in local cultural life. Participation in this event represents a concrete act in favor of heritage conservation.
This concert at Saint-Thomas Church (Sarthe) highlights the commitment of local stakeholders and organizations dedicated to heritage preservation. It offers an opportunity to discover a musical repertoire while contributing to the rebirth of an exceptional instrument.
