A forest preserved: a Breton family entrusts its heritage to Bretagne Vivante

A family in Châteaulin, Finistère, has donated 14 hectares of ancient forest to the organization Bretagne Vivante. This decision was motivated by the siblings' desire to preserve the integrity of the land and prevent its parceling.
The forest will be managed as a site in free evolution. By choosing this approach, the new managers aim to turn the area into an ecological laboratory, allowing the ecosystem to develop without human intervention.
This donation reflects a commitment to environmental heritage conservation. The transition of this property into the hands of an association ensures the long-term protection of this natural space.
