Canine Exhibition at Gien Castle-Museum

The Loiret Department presents "Nom d'un chien, quelle expo !" (What a Dog, What an Exhibition!) at the Gien Castle-Museum. This exhibition highlights the role and history of dogs throughout different periods.
The exhibition is open to the public until the end of September 2026.
It offers a unique perspective on the relationship between humans and dogs, as well as the various functions these animals have fulfilled, particularly during conflicts.
Visitors can discover a variety of objects and documents related to the canine presence, thereby enriching their understanding of their impact on history and society.
This cultural initiative aims to raise public awareness of zoological heritage and the importance of animals in our collective history.
