Unprecedented Exhibition: Drawings by French Masters at the Musée de Picardie

The Musée de Picardie, located in Amiens, is presenting a major exhibition dedicated to the art of drawing by great French masters. This event brings together 170 works signed by illustrious names such as Jean-Honoré Fragonard, Antoine Watteau, Nicolas Poussin, and Jacques-Louis David. The exhibition highlights the fundamental role of drawing as a preliminary and spontaneous step in the creative process of these artists.

This initiative is made possible thanks to the collaboration of some thirty private collectors who have generously lent their pieces for the duration of the exhibition. This collaborative approach allows the public to discover rarely accessible works, thus offering a unique perspective on the genesis of French painting masterpieces.
