Hautmont brings iconic masterpieces to the streets with a new open-air exhibition

Until November 15, 2026, the town of Hautmont in northern France is hosting an open-air exhibition titled "La Beauté Sauvera Le Monde" (Beauty Will Save the World). This initiative features six portrait-themed reproductions of masterpieces by renowned artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Frida Kahlo, and Vincent van Gogh, displayed directly in the public space.
Through this project, the municipality aims to make art accessible to a wider audience, breaking down the barriers often associated with traditional museum environments. By integrating these works into the urban landscape, the town encourages residents to engage with their surroundings from a new perspective.
This cultural initiative seeks to revitalize the local public space by fostering direct interaction between the citizenry and iconic works of art. The exhibition remains open to the public until the middle of November.
