Launch of the 1001 Gourds Festival in Normandy

The Jardin des Plumes, a Michelin-starred restaurant located in Giverny and led by Chef David Gallienne, is partnering with the Moulin de Fourges restaurant in Vexin-sur-Epte, in the Eure department, to launch a new cultural and gastronomic event. This initiative marks the first edition of the 1001 Gourds Festival. The festival was announced for October 12, 2026.

The program for this inaugural event will offer a variety of activities for visitors. Entertainment such as a bingo game and a ball are planned, along with a haunted house for a Halloween touch.

The culinary aspect is also highlighted with the organization of cooking classes, reflecting the expertise of the host establishments. The event aims to be accessible to a wide audience, offering diverse entertainment for all tastes.

This new festival seeks to enrich the cultural and leisure offerings in Normandy, proposing an original theme centered around gourds, while showcasing the settings of the two establishments.
