New exhibition at Marmottan-Monet Museum: Stories of Landscapes

The Marmottan-Monet Museum is hosting the temporary exhibition "Stories of Landscapes: The exhibition tracing the revolutions of landscape from Monet to Hockney" until January 31, 2027.

This presentation aims to explore the representation of landscapes after the Romantic, Realist, and Impressionist periods of the 19th century.

The chronological and thematic journey highlights the transformations of the artistic landscape during the century of world conflicts and the emergence of abstraction.

The exhibition brings together paintings, sculptures, and photographs by 112 artists, offering a renewed perspective on modern and contemporary interpretations of the natural and built environment.
