Restoration of Château de la Forêterie: A Revived Heritage

The Château de la Forêterie, located in Allonnes, Sarthe, symbolizes a page of history marked by the events of 1944. This edifice, which was engulfed in flames during that period, remained in ruins for seven decades, silently bearing witness to a turbulent past.

In 2015, François Avice undertook a remarkable initiative by acquiring the family property from his parents. His goal was to breathe new life into this damaged heritage, a long-term project aimed at restoring the château to its former splendor.

Since this acquisition, significant efforts have been made towards the renovation of La Forêterie. Mr. Avice's determination is progressively yielding results, with the restoration project nearing completion.
