An exhibition dedicated to Marie-Antoinette and Louis XVI at the Château de Fontainebleau

The Château de Fontainebleau is currently hosting a major exhibition dedicated to King Louis XVI and Queen Marie-Antoinette. This event, which explores a less familiar aspect of their lives, focuses on the eleven stays the royal couple made at the palace during their reign.

Through a specifically designed itinerary, visitors can discover the history of these visits and the relationship between the sovereigns and the Fontainebleau estate. The exhibition offers a unique perspective on the private life and the environment of the last monarchs of the Ancien Régime.

The exhibition is open to the public until January 25. It provides an opportunity for visitors to explore the palace's rooms and collections through this historical prism.
