A new association dedicated to local history and heritage founded near Nantes

A new association dedicated to local history and heritage has recently been established in Le Loroux-Bottereau, near Nantes. Known as "Histoire et patrimoine lorousain," the organization already brings together nearly 30 members committed to documenting the municipality's past.

The primary focus of the association is currently the systematic sorting and cataloging of thousands of archival documents. This foundational work aims to preserve local historical records and ensure they are accessible to the public.

Looking ahead, the association plans to utilize these collections to create thematic exhibitions and organize public events. These initiatives are intended to foster a deeper understanding of the local history among the community and preserve the region's cultural heritage.
