The garden where twenty Canadian prisoners were murdered in June 1944.
Command post of the 12th SS Panzer Division Hitlerjugend, this medieval abbey was the scene of the summary execution of twenty Canadian prisoners on 7 and 8 June 1944. A memorial garden planted with maples bears their names at the foot of the stone walls.
