Écausseville Airship Hangar

Écausseville

A 1919 concrete hangar, used by the Luftwaffe and then the US Army.

Built in 1917–1919 for anti-submarine warfare, this 150-metre-long airship hangar is one of the few of its kind still standing. Occupied by the Luftwaffe, then repurposed as a repair workshop by the US Army after D-Day, it is a listed historic monument.
