One of the few intact German batteries, with its original guns still in place.
Located between Omaha and Gold beaches, the Longues-sur-Mer battery comprised four 150 mm guns protected by reinforced concrete bunkers. It is now the only Atlantic Wall battery to retain its original artillery in situ.
